Angela Springer, MSW, LCSW, ACT
As a person who loves being creative and has a young spirit, I find that I can easily connect with kids and teens. Using what I know from proven treatments and finding innovative and personalized applications to find change is something that I enjoy immensely. I am encouraging and always find ways to make space for your feelings and thoughts while also moving towards treatment goals. There is a way forward. These difficult feelings that you or your child are experiencing can be temporary. I truly believe in the benefit that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has in helping you to find the way out of the struggle. I see it work regularly and love sharing what I know so you can benefit too. My dedication to learning everything I can about providing evidence-based therapy has led to me to some amazing opportunities. One of the most valuable includes attending multiple trainings by Judith Beck and the ‘father of CBT’, Aaron T. Beck. I have worked hard to become Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT). I am also honored to be a Certified Trainer and Consultant through ACT as well. I have experience supervising therapists in learning CBT, am a member of the credentialing committee for the Academy of Cognitive Therapy that certifies other therapists in CBT, and I have provided training on behalf of ACT. I continue to look for ways to advance my learning so I can best help you meet your goals.
